Christmas At Bute Park 2024
As part Ignite Cymru’s talent development programme for Christmas at Bute Park Light Trail. Tangible Lemon artists Natalie Roe and Louis Smith were commissioned to create "Crisial" sculptural outdoor installation, formed of an array of dazzling & glowing crystal pipes, allowing the light to travel through them. For the accompanying composition, Natalie collaborated with the Cardiff branch of the National Open Youth Orchestra (NOYO) an ensemble made up of young disabled and non-disabled musicians. Recording sounds and speech from the rehearsals which formed the basis for the composition. The Recordings from NOYO were manipulated with a Modular Synthesiser, creating abstract sounds to immerse people in the festive feel of the walk-through.
